At SymBeauté, we provide 100% raw, single-donor Cambodian and Vietnamese hair. Because raw hair behaves like natural human hair, proper installation and maintenance are essential. SymBeauté is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or improper handling before, during, or after installation.


Please review the guidelines below.





1. Professional Installation Required



Our raw hair must be installed by a licensed, experienced stylist who understands:


  • Raw hair behavior
  • Proper weft handling
  • Tension control
  • Lace installation
  • Correct bleaching techniques



Improper installations may cause shedding, tangling, lace damage, or shortened lifespan.





2. Weft Cutting & Thread Tension



SymBeauté is not responsible for shedding caused by:


  • Cutting wefts
  • Sewing through the wefts
  • Excessively tight stitching
  • Rough handling during install



If your stylist cuts the wefts, they must seal them.





3. Bleaching, Coloring & Chemical Services



Raw hair can be colored, but SymBeauté is not responsible for any damage caused by:


  • At-home bleaching
  • Using high-volume developers
  • Overprocessing
  • Toner misuse
  • Incorrect product selection
  • Lightening beyond safe levels



All coloring must be done by a professional raw-hair colorist.





4. Lace Pieces (Closures & Frontals)



Lace pieces are delicate and require careful handling.


We are not responsible for damage caused by:


  • Rough pulling
  • Excess plucking
  • Bleaching knots incorrectly
  • Hot combs directly on lace
  • Excessive tinting
  • Glue mishandling
  • Not tying down the lace properly



Frontals naturally have a shorter lifespan due to their construction.





5. Product Misuse



SymBeauté is not liable for issues caused by:


  • Heavy products
  • Alcohol-based sprays
  • Excessive heat
  • Failure to wash hair before installation
  • Swimming without protection
  • Sleeping on wet hair
  • Hard water mineral buildup



These factors can affect the performance of raw hair.





6. Raw Hair Behavior



Because our hair is 100% raw and unprocessed:


  • Slight texture variations between bundles are normal
  • Minor shedding is normal
  • Hair may frizz in humidity
  • Hair requires moisturizing, just like natural human hair
  • Raw “straight” hair may have a slight wave



These are not defects—they are characteristics of authentic raw hair.





7. Customer Responsibility



Once the hair is installed, the customer is responsible for:


  • Proper maintenance
  • Hydration and conditioning
  • Gentle detangling
  • Sleeping with a bonnet or silk pillowcase
  • Avoiding excessive heat



Failure to follow recommended care may reduce the hair’s lifespan.





8. No Refunds After Installation



Once hair has been:


  • Installed
  • Washed
  • Colored
  • Brushed or combed
  • Cut
  • Altered in any way



it is no longer eligible for replacement or store credit.


This applies even if the stylist reports issues during the install.
